Coming from the wild and sweaty realms of the Viennese underground scene to become a star in Japan, the artist turned professional wrestler Thekla the 'Toxic Spider' seems to be doing it all. In the spring of 2024, she presented her second solo exhibition in Tokyo, showing her self-designed wrestling gear and a new set of works, depicting the highs and lows of a life in the ring.
ワイルドで汗にまみれたウィーンのアンダーグラウンドシーンから飛び出した一人のアーティストは”毒蜘蛛”テクラとして今や日本プロレス界のスターとなった。 2024年春、彼女は東京で自身二回目の個展を開催した。前回に引き続きリングで生きる彼女の人生の悲喜交交を描き出した絵画の新作コレクションに加え、彼女の頭の中を可視化したようなZineも刊行。
