Coming from the wild and sweaty realms of the Viennese underground scene to become a star in Japan, the artist turned professional wrestler Thekla the 'Toxic Spider' seems to be doing it all. Now she is presenting her 2nd solo exhibition in Tokyo, showing her self-designed wrestling gear and a new set of works depicting the highs and lows of a life in the ring.
ワイルドで汗にまみれたウィーンのアンダーグラウンドシーンから飛び出した一人のアーティストは”毒蜘蛛”テクラとして今や日本プロレス界のスターとなった。
この度、彼女は東京で自身二回目の個展を開催する。前回に引き続きリングで生きる彼女の人生の悲喜交交を描き出した絵画の新作コレクションに加え、彼女の頭の中を可視化したようなZineとグッズも販売予定。

was born and raised in Vienna, Austria. After graduating from the University of Applied Arts Vienna in 2020, she relocated to Tokyo, Japan in 2020 to beome a professional wrestler. Since January 2022 she has been competing for the world's premiere female professional wrestling company, STARDOM to become one of the organization's top international stars.
オーストリア・ウィーン出身。ウィーン応用美術大学を卒業後、2020年に東京に拠点を移し、プロレスラーとなる。2022年1月より世界最高峰の女子プロレス団体STARDOMに参戦し、世界的なトップスターの仲間入りを果たした。
